@Vivaldi I don't know what happened, but on one computer I'm experiencing massive lag switching tabs and scrolling. Started happening just before 8.0. Seems fine on my other PC.
@Vivaldi
I encountered an issue on Windows 11 Home 25H2.
Since updating to version 8.0, dragging the browser window freezes the system for about 30 seconds.
Steps:
1. Click and hold the blank area next to the tab bar.
2. Drag the window.
3. The cursor moves, but the browser window does not and the system becomes unresponsive.
4. About 30 seconds later, the window moves.
The issue still occurs on the latest version. Please investigate. Thank you.
Do you have this issue after the second minor update as well?
If you do, please report the bug on https://vivaldi.com/bugreport/.
@Vivaldi Honestly I am close to delete Vivaldi from all my systems. EVERY F*CKING DAY I get this annoying pop up that I have to install a new version. EVERY DAY. That's so annoying and it disturbs the user experience.
Try to release after a decent sprint cycle, but just NOT every day.
@teenstarlets that's weird and not something I've seen reported anywhere else. Have you sent us a bug report before? If not, it would be great if you could, so the appropriate devs can take a look (https://vivaldi.com/bugreport). Apologies!
@Vivaldi everything's back as it was before the update. Thank you very much and have a lovely weekend
@Vivaldi Well, I noticed another curious issue: when trying to log into Melon Usk's site, after entering my email address and clicking "Next", it displays the same window again where I have to enter my email address – it looks like it's gone into a loop. However, in the incognito window of the same browser, I can log in without any problems. Tested on the latest versions of Vivaldi on Windows 11 and Fedora 44 KDE.
Do you use extensions? If you do, try disabling them one by one to see if any of them is causing the issue.

@Vivaldi Apparently, it was an issue on X's side. After a couple of days they started displaying a message saying they restricted my access to the site, and as of today, I can log in as usual. But thanks for your tips anyway, they may come handy in the future. 🙂
@Vivaldi fixed, thank you! was already wondering if something is wrong with my internet connection 🙈
Thanks for your hard work and have a great weekend! 🌻
@Vivaldi Absolutely love 8.0!
