Having realised I'm #ActuallyAutistic I underwent a change, not just in understanding myself but also in understanding the difficulties of an allistic trying to relate with someone like me.

Like me trying to understand myself before knowing that I was not like them, an allistic with no experience of being autistic or of a relationship with such a person. Not knowing they were dealing with such a person or the staggering difference I live with.

This helps me see them as I want them to see me.
