One of the best things about living in England is that you can walk semi-aimlessly in a lot of places and stumble across places like this which seem to be frozen in time. Did I take this in August 2025 or May 1934? It could easily be either.

I had no idea this place existed until I found myself walking to kill time one morning - and I had no idea the Medway was THIS tidal. The water level is incredibly low in the photo, but the piers the arches are built on were totally submerged by the time I walked back later in the day.
