@MylesRyden my main bike is a Priority Apollo, which has worked pretty well for me! They put a belt drive bike within reach, on a bike with good quality components.

I definitely prefer bicycle equipment that is highly reliable and requires little maintenance. And over the years of using a belt drive + Alfine 11 internal gear hub, I've accumulated a backup wheel so a mechanical problem doesn't prevent me from riding.
Overall, I reckon I've saved 100-200 hours of chain cleaning and maintenance, which has meant more time out on the road.
@natematias @ascentale @gbargoud @bikenite I have one chain drive bike and one belt drive bike and the maintenance comparison is huge. Basically nothing for the belt drive so far (2 years in) and of course routine cleaning/etc and replacement for the chain. #BikeNite

How long ago did you get your belt drive bike? What kind of riding do you do mostly?
Hello! I got my belt drive bike in 2021, so it's been four years now. I've put probably 20-25k miles / 40k km into it.
My all-year daily commute is about 10-12 miles through doubletrack, gravel, and on roads, in all weather, from snow and ice to summer heat.
I also am a rando rider and will do rides of up to 1200km in the summer.
Sounds awesome! I randomly came across Priority bikes, which uses belt drive for all of their bikes and was giving it serious consideration.

I have a 600 as my current [only] ride which I鈥檝e had for 3 years now and except for losing a belt to bad alignment, haven鈥檛 had any issues until this year. I keep looking at the Apollo with the smaller front to allow me to keep climbing the hills around here. #bikenite #prioritybikes #prioritybikes600
