Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, said that the world has abandoned Palestine and allowed Israel to destroy an entire people without taking any meaningful action.
He expressed deep distrust in political leaders, saying they act only to remain in power, and noted that anyone’s children could be in that situation, facing death simply because of where they were born.
Guardiola also described the friendly match between Palestine and Catalonia as symbolic, explaining that such gestures help raise awareness but must be accompanied by real motivation and purpose.
