Is there a term for the inverse productivity achieved when you have so many tabs open that you can no longer see any favicons? If not, I'm going to spend some CPU cycles coining one. I feel like I hit this pivotal point almost daily, even though I'm working on many screens at once. The problem is I'm usually squirreling on so many things at once I neglect to close tabs. p.s. long ass German words don't count sorry.

@catsalad @briankrebs Tab mnimalist here also. I'm never at 'tab zero', eg I have a few status pages that I monitor, but I am orders of magnitude closer than 'inbox zero'...
@catsalad @briankrebs I’m still a crazy tab hoarder but on Fridays I close them now and note down any real todos. I’ve been using tab groups and profiles etc to keep things somewhat separate…. I feel like my tabs replicate the insanity in my head almost exactly

I never have more than 4, maybe 5 tabs open and have never understood why anyone would have more.
@nrmacdonald @catsalad well bully for you. I bet you're one of those zero-inbox people right? My wife (also a zero inbox person) nearly had a coronary the other day when she saw the inbox on my phone with 69,000+ unread messages.
@catsalad @briankrebs My mind was blown when I did that in the middle of a demo and a student told me about Ctrl+Shift+T. Saved my ass hundreds of times ever since.
