Although, I do wish that the movie didn't star Emile Hirsch, or a better wish, that Emile Hirsch didn't then go on to almost murder a woman after starring in it.
Emile Hirsch almost murdered a woman by choking her and dragging her across a table in public and full view of witnesses and people had to pull him off of her to keep him from killing her.
He spent a few days in jail. She has PTSD for life.
He has still not apologized directly to her.
And yet, he has starred in so many big projects since then.
He says it was the worst day of his life, but also that he doesn't remember it, and also, no reference to the possibility that it was a much worse day for her than it was for him.
"He's learned his lesson, people are capable of growth"
Yes.
But not when the victim of your actions is still out there, has paid for her own therapy for what you caused, without so much as a single apology while you're out there starring in blockbuster films and making Hollywood star dollars.
It's been a decade.
