I am now being told, that this news is actually from the United States, where the Trump regime has charged Kat Abughazaleh for protesting ICE.
But she will not be intimidated. In fact she is running for Congress, representing Illinois' 9th district, and thanks to the charges her visibility is now through the roof.

@randahl the indictment says that ICE "had to drive slowly". Pathetic charges. If the Trump administration had a sense of shame it would be appropriate to point and say "shame!", but that would be anthropomorphizing. Expecting psychopaths to feel empathy is to setting yourself up for disappointment
@va3ekr I saw one legal scholar say such small misdemeanor stuff was never handled federally, and that fact in itself could get the charges dismissed as an act of selective prosecution.
"Running for Congress" sounded much better before we realized one corrupt guy could shut down the whole thing and keep it hostage until he gets his will...
