I barely track sales at cons: I'm there to meet readers/writers, promote #solarpunk, and sure, sell books: I always make money, but my main sales are online. Handselling is time-intensive: I do it occasionally for reasons above.
But the little old lady selling tshirts? This is her WHOLE GIG.

Traffic was way down at the con: last year people were constantly at my table, but not this year.
Yet my sales weren't actually down... they had increased!
My guess? I was selling solutions. I spoke directly to the mess we're in and said "solarpunk is about fixing this"
