@bun @antijingoist one thing I keep hearing is that having a job lined up makes a huge difference. If your current employer will accept you relocating (and is set up in .ca), that’s the easiest.

Otherwise trying to find a place that will offer you employment contingent on your successful application for work permission will make things MUCH smoother and faster, and may not require an asylum grant. If they sponsor you, even better, but that’s very rare
