I like the framing of "cozy apps" - & long time fan of #CalmTech - & do think that is a space between mass scale social and IM's. #Signal
for me is a "Cozy app" via it's group features.

@tchambers Everyone I know & interact with uses iMessage, & it’s very cosy to connect it with iCloud Photos & send our photos to everyone from wherever we are in the world. As I digitize my old film photos I can quickly send them to everyone with an iPhone. OTOH nothing is happening to traditional social media, there’s millions of people on the many apps available. It’s certainly not “dead” 🙂
