Finally – draft text on the "UAE dialogue", which was set up to discuss "implementing the global stocktake outcomes"
However, dividing lines over whether to discuss "transition away from fossil fuels" etc – or just finance – remain

The most political fight is over the "scope" of the dialogue:
Opt1: finance only
Opt2: all elements, inc para 28 / fossil fuel transition
Opt3: all elements with a focus on finance
Opt4: finance for NDC implementation etc

Finally, the draft UAE dialogue text at #COP29 has an important para 19 on whether the process should be translated into a future COP decision (and whether that decision should continue to carry the torch on stocktake paras 28/33 covering energy transition / fossil fuels + halting deforestation)
