Just remembered what The Wife® said about the Foo Fighters.
If I met Dave Ghrol in person, I would tell him this. If I met any other member of the Foo Fighters in person, I would likely not know who they are.

@maxalmonte14 Vaguely related; I was once playing an old Foo Fighters song and the wife turned to me and said "who is this? it sounds like they're trying to be the Foo Fighters". She was not wrong and I guess that supports your comparison.
