The one thing I find unrealistic in #AndyWeir's #ProjectHailMary is how the whole world's leaders agree to collaborate to avert the end of humanity.
I find that to be more unbelievable than humans travelling to a distant star. Or, you know, aliens.

I'm about 90% through the book, and by now I'm closer to rating it 9/10 than 8/10. And I'm pretty sure I'll remember it for a while yet. And I want to see the movie adaptation.
The thing that's probably the most surprising to me is, it's very funny! I didn't expect to be laughing this much reading a hard sci-fi book with such a bleak premise.
