- Build personal and neighborhood capacity
- Start saving money for mutual aid
- Start building personal and community food storage for extended disruption
- Develop neighborhood communication, face-to-face and using Signal
This is not about getting back to some previous normal. The previous normal was too shit to return to. We've known for awhile that the core was weakening, that it was rotting, that we were neglecting it. This is about building something new.
We use the crisis they are causing against them. We use their attempt to subjugate us against them. Like our loving brothers and sisters in MN we extend our empathy outward, we embrace one another and build action based in solidarity and love.
Our future should not be about what we can tuck behind a picket fence and in a two car garage in a comfortable middle class suburban home.
Our future is our resistance to their attempts to subjugate us. Our future is our resistance to their attempt to make us afraid.
Our future is our ability to confront our long history of genocide, subjugation, white supremacy and injustice. This crisis is an opportunity for transformation. They started something that we should finish.
