We learned Wednesday that a secret memo claims ICE has the authority to invade our homes without a judicial warrant, that an administrative warrant is sufficient.
New ICE hires and those still in training are being told to follow the memo’s guidance instead of written training materials that actually protect our 4th Amendment rights, according to the whistleblower disclosure.
The Associated Press witnessed ICE officers ramming through the front door of the home of a Liberian man in Minneapolis on Jan. 11 with only an administrative warrant, wearing heavy tactical gear and with their rifles drawn.
ICE is effectively throwing citizens in jail, destroying the doors to their homes, breaking the windows out of their cars.
It is unconscionable to give ICE an additional $18 billion. Vote no on their budget appropriation.
Then investigate these Constitutional violations and impeach everyone responsible for them.
