…After #ReneeNicoleGood was shot, the #DOJ decided to forgo a #CivilRights investigation that would establish whether the #ICE officer’s use of #DeadlyForce was justified. That decision led several career prosecutors at the department’s civil rights division in Washington to resign in protest, MS Now reported Monday.

The other senior career prosecutors who resigned include Harry Jacobs, Melinda Williams & Thomas Calhoun-Lopez. Mr. Jacobs had been Mr. Thompson’s deputy overseeing the fraud investigation, which began in 2022. Mr. Calhoun-Lopez was the chief of the violent & major crimes unit.

Mr. Thompson, Mr. Jacobs, Ms. Williams & Mr. Calhoun-Lopez declined to discuss the reasons they resigned. The #DOJ did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey at a press conference shortly after ICE murdered a woman on their streets. I edited it down to the most important parts.

His message for ICE: “get the fuck out of Minneapolis.”

It’s cussy, so mind the volume if that matters where you are.

From section 1-16.200 of the DoJ Justice Manual:

“Firearms may not be discharged solely to disable moving vehicles…unless…no other objectively reasonable means of defense appear to exist, which includes moving out of the path of the vehicle.”

I’ve seen the video. That murdering nazi could have stepped backward if he thought he was gonna get hit.
