The weirdest thing about Trump's disgusting, narcissistic, and utterly baseless response to the Reiner's murder (which I won't repeat or link to here; you can find it if you want) is that he seems to be suggesting that an enraged MAGA supporter did the killings. Not one of his usual scapegoats like a liberal or an immigrant, but a Trump supporter. WTF?
There's no evidence that's true, but it seems like an especially odd narrative for him to be pushing.
