Alright, I think this is my last Assembly Required post for today.

Announcing Filibus, The Mysterious Air Pirate.

Filibus is a hand made action figure, based on the 1915 film Filibus. They are a genderfluid airship captain, and the star of my serial magazine The Mysterious Air Pirates.

These are the first batch of our Deluxe Full-color edition figures. They're hand painted.

Future editions will probably involve paint masks, but I didn't have time to do it fast so I had to take the time to do it slow.

There are currently 5 of this Deluxe Edition Filibus Action Figure, along with about two dozen of a show exclusive variant. They will be available this weekend at Assembly Required in Asheville, NC.

After Assembly Required, a second hand painted batch will be available for fedifolk sometime in Feb, and another different edition will be available in March.

It features a collage of airships against a stormy sky and a person standing on the bridge with lighted eyes holding what might be a rope or a sword. (it's a sword.)

There are no surviving radio broadcasts of any of the games Gibson participated in. This isn't surprising, but it is disappointing.

Based on what I read, at least one match Gibson played received a full play by play broadcast, but If it survives I have been unable to find it.

Along the way, I found a few people talking about re-recording new play by play commentary for historic baseball matches.

This is adjacent to, but separate from, a thing that I've talked about doing (recording fake baseball play-by-play for #SkiesOfTomorrow )

I also found some folks recording fake baseball games (apparently as sleep aids, in at least one example: https://www.sleepbaseball.com/ )
