for all who want to host @alexchapman s galacticord. I know, I know, I've made it hard it seams. you have to run this script, and that script, and this script and that and this and that. the good news is, based on nadekobots setup script, I have made a setup script that does everything for you plus more. of course, there is still some stuff you need to do, and that I need to fix, but the automation script certainly helps. when you git clone the repository at https://github.com/g4p-studios/galacticord, run the following 2 commands. sudo chmod +x setup.sh && ./setup.sh .
press 1. it will download the files needed for piper, npm, and all that shit. then you can , in separate fields tell it your token, client ID, Gemini API key, Google cloud API key, bot owner IDs, etc.
of course, there's 2, run. and 3 is bit of a...surprise....i'll just say that. i'll reveal the functionality of 3 at some point, best you run it and figure it out. I think you might quite enjoy it.
note, the #piper voices can take a bit to install, around 15 to 30 minutes or so, because there is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge repository of them. also, the speak / Linux speech repositories have not been embedded in this script yet, so expect that to be improved overtime
