IIRC, @Goffi has been working on #poll锘縮 for #Libervia at some point.
#XMPP already has " #XEP-0004: #DataForms", "XEP-0050: #AdHocCommands", and "XEP-0060: #PublishSubscribe" i.e. the building blocks are there.
