Cinéma, en retard de l'an dernier : un quatrième film "La Momie" est en projet, selon The Hollywood Reporter qui en parlait en novembre dernier. Le film sera réalisé par Matt Bettinelli-Olpin et Tyler Gillett. Brendan Fraser et Rachel Weicz sont en discussions avec le studio pour reprendre leurs rôles respectifs de l'aventurier Rick O'Connell et de l'égyptologue et bibliothécaire Evelyn Carnahan. Le studio Universal n'avait pas encore confirmé la nouvelle en novembre.
