I’m a lottery ticket,
Lady luck incarnate.
Portal to pleasure and passion,
I blow your mind with
Places you’ve only
Dreamed of getting into.
Effortlessly opening worlds with you
Because it’s the way
To shower you my love.

Choosing to share time and life:
Holding hands, walking together.
Mundane chores like grocery shopping,
Playing outside, cozy fireplace inside.
Celebrating daily joys,
Cuddling and kissing,
Pura vida and simple living.
Also just being boring privately
Together!

Love sitting with you,
Reading books, writing things,
Watching things separately then together
Sometimes vice versa
Sometimes never.
Days apart then together,
Returning to where you are,
You reminding me home is where we are.

Aside: writing poetry at a laundromat’s a bit distracting! Would’ve voice noted this for transcript later but too noisy. Seeing GF for a mini reunion after so faster to type it out now and not overthink it. It was her idea to journal via poems and glad to do it as an exercise ❤️

Sealed Deal

They sent a secret to break me,
Instead of breaking, I am cleared!

Finally exhaling
The breath I didn’t know I was holding,
Watching the truth float by
Like fluffy clouds in the sky.

The universe always sorts itself out,
Placing shadows with shadows
So the light can finally stand
Brilliantly alone.

They have found their level;
I have found my peace.
