Question:

When I was in university (before word processors and even for quite a while after) I would write a long paper or thesis using index cards that would allow me to capture a thought or reference in the moment, then visually rearrange them on a table before I'd start writing. These days we have all kinds of #mindmap apps and the like for this kind of #writing process.
