So I feel this painting really accurately reflects the direction I’ve been aspiring to in my art. So the new year really has started off great.

Il ne faut pas croire qu’un artiste a toujours des éclairs foudroyants d’inspiration qui viennent. L’image vient souvent en travaillant. Par un sujet, une photo, une idée que l’on veut mettre en œuvre. Ici, j’ai utilisé la technique de peinture sur papier par empreintes. J’ai bien aimé ces formes d’oiseau et je suis partie de là pour faire mon composition.
