We’re slowly welcoming everyone here in Berlin and officially kicking off the evening. This event marks the conclusion of our very first Sovereign Tech Fellowship cohort, a moment to talk about why we started the program, share the insights from the evaluation of the pilot, and reflect on the impact and what we’ve learned.

Who will maintain our digital future? On 3 Dec 2025 in Berlin, we’re hosting an event for the #SovereignTechFellowship. In 2025, this program has paid maintainers of essential #opensource projects, piloting a new model for supporting #digitalinfrastructure in the #publicinterest.

Join us to meet the inaugural fellows, learn lessons from the pilot year, and discuss with our expert panel on the impact of public sector fellowships for technologists.
