A little boy at the edge of the pond has lit his flower boat's candle, and is about to pick the little raft up and set it into the water, where it will float away. Behind him two women take pictures of their rafts that have already drifted off. There were people of all ages doing this.

Here is a table outside the gate of the park where people were selling and buying the flower boats. There's about twenty arrangements covering the tables. Each one is made of woven banana leaves as a base, with many different arrangements of carnations, orchids, baby's breath, and other flowers on top. Then they're crowned with a birthday-sized candle and three sticks of incense. The main colour of each is a yellow-orange ring of puffy chrysanthemums, with fuschia orchids and either blue or white flowers on top.
