“As of July 1, the Foodborne Diseases Active Surveillance Network (FoodNet) program has reduced surveillance to just two pathogens: salmonella and Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC)…[dropping 6]: campylobacter, cyclospora, listeria, shigella, vibrio and Yersinia.
