#women keep this country together. That’s why I believe so strongly that #indigenous sovereignty is so intrinsically tied to the liberation of #white women.

Globally, nearly 1 in 5 young women (19%) aged 20–24 were married or in a union before turning 18.

Over 230 million girls and women globally have undergone genital mutilation
