Moderna entwickelte einen neuen mRNA #Impfstoff gegen #Influenza. Nachdem sie alle Vorgaben der FDA erfüllten und ziemlich viel Geld für Entwicklung und Studien investierten, erklärte die von Trumpisten geführte FDA nun, dass sie den neuen Impfstoff nicht prüfen werden.
In der Phase 1 Studie führte der mRNA Impfstoff zu einer besseren Immunantwort und war gut verträglich.
Die Entscheidung wird natürlich dazu führen, dass die Firmen die Impfstoffforschung runterfahren. Ziel erreicht.

I managed to work short of 6 hours and my boss let me leave early. I thought I could do it but this old body wouldn't work. Food tastes strange and mostly very salty, and coffee tastes like nothing like coffee. My back and hips hurt so much that getting in and out of my car was full of grunts, rests, and retries. This photo is the best I could do without looking too painful. Wash your hands, gargle, sleep well. This flu has been much worse than the COVID I had. A 22 y/o female from work still can't walk...it's that bad.

Clinical data (like rising hospitalizations & deaths) are lagging indicators, making wastewater monitoring an essential tool for pandemic preparedness and risk assessments. Unfortunately, BC drastically downgraded their testing program in Sept 2025 - they stopped testing a third of the wastewater treatment plants, reduced sampling to only once a week (it was previously 3 times a week), and reduced sequencing to once every two weeks.
This is our chance to let BC know:
👉 wastewater testing is essential
👉 we don’t want any more cuts
👉 we want them to improve the program!

Despite the media clickbait about #SubcladeK being a #SuperFlu or "lethal", there's no evidence that it produces worse symptoms than typical #influenza variants, or even that it's more virulent. Instead we have a combination of a mutation which makes it better at avoiding this year's #flu #vaccine, along with…

lower #vaccination rates.
The vaccine still reduces hospitalization and death rates for subclade K, so it seems likely this year's increase in flu hospitalizations and deaths will be far better explained by the lower vaccination rates (in some countries) plus the early start of the flu season (in some countries) than by the mutation.

It finally hit me too. I haven't been sick in two years, but now it is my turn. This thing triggered a killer migraine and fever through the night, and now I just feel like shit, too tired to do anything, throat's wrecked, brain fog, and chills like it's freezing indoors. Everything hurts.
