Nothing is so annoying as old issue reports with convoluted discussions (in a #RSE live).
I am beginning to understand why some software projects pile issues.
- preferring gmail over institutional mail
- working with teams or webex instead of institutional or free meeting tools
- using Google Docs in favour of free tools
- still thinking Excel is a viable tool for a researcher
All these things (and perhaps more) show, to a professional #RSE developer, that (s)he should exercise a tremendous amount of caution during discussions and when summarizing meetings.
