“You cannot say this was a law enforcement operation & then turn around & say now we need to run the country," said Jeremy Paul, a constitutional #law prof at Northeastern University. "It just doesn't make any sense."

Russia, China & other Venezuelan allies have accused the #US of violating #InternationalLaw, but US allies - many of whom opposed #Maduro - have been less vocal about any concerns over the use of #military force.
