I am really fascinated by the intelligence of animals.
In this video, an elephant with "tusk gingivitis" goes to the dentist for treatment, and he clearly understands that the dentist is trying to help.
That is a 6 ton animal, which could crush any human like a twig, calmly accepting a human touching and cleaning a sore wound of his — even lifting up his trunk to make better room for the job.

If you are into archeology, BBC has made a very interesting program about the extremely well preserved bog bodies found in Denmark. Even though these human remains are more than 2000 years old, they are surprisingly well preserved, and allows us to see what clothes people wore, what they ate, and more.

I am grateful to live in a peaceful city, but today was not peaceful in Vejle.
I was Christmas shopping downtown, when a person suddenly went on a violent rampage through the street, kicking down street signs, damaging cars, an clearly being a danger to innocent bystanders.
Luckily the police were there within minutes, and I think they will catch him, because there was a security camera right above an area where he kicked a large merchandise rack down onto a brand new car.

What surprised me the most was my own reaction.
Apparently the situation shocked me enough that I was unable to describe the perpetrator when the police arrived — my recollection was completely blank. I could not even recall what clothes he wore.
That annoys me deeply, because I wanted this man to be stopped before he hurt anyone.
So my advice to everyone is: If you see something dangerous, film it. You never know what you will be able to remember, but video is forever.

I've been playing this Doom mod called Doomscrolling and it's depressing as fuck
with the name I expected you would use scrolls and magic as attacks, but instead you go down this corridor that never ends, and instead of attacking demons like usual, you see them sharing things made to get an emotion out of you, or ai slop, lots of both
it's monotonous, it's depressing, it's everything I hate and I don't know what the mod creator was thinking with this
5/10, somehow it's more addictive than Balatro and any survivorslike, I gotta check out the sequel "Doomposting" too...
