I know everyone hates change, but the new StreetDeck Electroliner #buses on the 341 route are manifestly terrrrible. The seating is cramped, the flooring is tacky (and readily shows dirt), the digital signage is bizarrely placed (and astonishingly poorly executed, for a transit authority with as proud a tradition of graphic excellence as #TfL), they’re generally just uncomfortable – a big step backward we’ll have to endure for the next several years minimum. : . #Transport for #London (TfL) has launched a new poster and social media campaign to raise awareness of key Highway Code rules, particularly those designed to protect people walking, #cycling and motorcycling—who remain the most at risk on London’s roads. A recent TfL survey found only 16% of Londoners understood all five safety rules highlighted in the campaign. These include stopping at zebra crossings and letting cyclists or pedestrians go before turning. Backed by the Department for Transport, the campaign supports the Mayor’s Vision Zero goal to eliminate deaths and serious injuries on London’s roads by 2041. Alongside this, #TfL continues investing in safer junctions, #cycle routes, and lorry safety standards as part of its broader mission to make London’s roads safer and more sustainable.
