The myth of white male supremacy depends on white men believing they should never feel challenged, never feel uncertain, never feel questioned. It depends on you interpreting friction as an attack instead of an opportunity.

But life beyond the supremacy myth?
That life requires the exact opposite.

It requires learning to stay present in the discomfort long enough to see what’s real.
It requires reclaiming the parts of yourself that “ease” has numbed.

What once felt like a righteous aspiration suddenly became something tangible; something I could strategize around, test, refine, and practice.

This is how Life Beyond the Supremacy Myth moved from idea → framework → lived possibility.

Because once you see clearly how the myth harms everyone, just differently, you can finally begin the work of building something new.

You are simply repositioning yourself for continued dominance.

And anyone running to embrace her, or worse, demanding others do, is signaling that they are not committed to collective liberation, only to the preservation of whiteness.

Because collective liberation requires more than emotional displays.
It requires material change.
It requires consequences.
It requires white people to interrupt their own mythology and confront the ways they weaponize redemption to maintain supremacy.

That is the myth of white supremacy at work.
Stealing your humanity while convincing you it’s a privilege.

So let this be your reminder as you continue the real, difficult, necessary work of building a consistent, demonstrated antiracist practice:

Joy. Play. Pleasure. Passion.
These are not extras.
They are not distractions.
They are not luxuries.

They are tools, critical, powerful tools, in your equity, justice, and liberation toolbox.

Truth requires naming the systems, institutions, and policies that produced the behavior.

Anything less is performance.

Avoid those who demand reconciliation without repair.
Avoid those who want you to pretend the harm wasn’t intentional.
Avoid those who mistake strategic retreat for growth.

Until the myth is rejected, not just the consequences of participating in it, there is no safety, no sincerity, and no liberation in these apologies.

White men need community!

Not the kind you’ve inherited, but the kind you must build:
A community where you can make mistakes, learn from them, and grow without harming the people you claim to care about.

A world where your brilliance is questioned, your competence is policed, and your confidence is labeled aggression.
A world where your excellence is expected but never celebrated, your presence tolerated but rarely welcomed.

And I’m louder and I push back harder than most…not because it’s easy, but because silence costs too much.

Every time I walk into a space where the unspoken rules were never meant for me, I’m reminded that surviving this world requires more than intelligence.

and vilify anyone whose life actually embodies those principles.

And it’s Christian doctrine that enables white people to frame the story however they choose. Always casting themselves as the hero, or the victim, but never the villain.

So no, Christianity hasn’t been hijacked.
It’s been exposed.

Exposed for what it has always been in practice here…a system designed to moralize domination, sanitize violence, and center whiteness as divine.

And you, if you’re doing this work honestly, will mourn them. You’ll mourn who they were to you, who you hoped they might become, and the version of yourself that still believed you could make everyone see what you see.

That’s the cost of living by the principles of Profit Without Oppression and Life Beyond the Supremacy Myth.

It’s not a feel-good story. It’s not about winning people over. It’s about continuing anyway.

And that kind of world doesn’t emerge from logic alone.
It requires intuition.
It requires honoring the wisdom of lived experience, even, especially, when you can’t understand it.
It requires authenticity, not performance.

What I’m realizing is that the more I embody this work, the more uncomfortable it becomes for those who still live by the myth. The myth that everything is a competition to win, a system to master, a problem to solve.

And I reminded him that with practice, his discomfort would fade while his sense of belonging, in diverse and compassion-centered spaces, would grow stronger.

Whiteness doesn’t do community.
But you can learn how.
