Got the 360p version of #Rockbox installed on my #InnioasisY1 with the #AdwaitaPod theme!

Had to change fonts to support Japanese characters, and set new album art because apparently Progressive JPGs aren't supported but now it's pretty much perfect for me ^^

Although the theme is fully functional now, I noticed a lot of aliasing, it looks like the icons for the theme were simply upscaled to match the 360p resolution.

Soooo I'm doing them myself on #Inkscape now blobcatderpy

On one side inkscape is open, reference icons and the remade ones side by side for the different Shuffle modes, on the other side, a folder showcasing different bmp files, components of the theme. Below, a terminal with a ImageMagick command to convert the pngs from Inkscape into compatible bmp files

After a couple of mysterious wipes and some corruption of the CF card in the Bluetooth iPod, I redid the insulation and padding inside and it seems to have settled down.

While noticing pin 1 (as directed by the CF board), I noticed that the soldering on the back of it was a bit "spiky" so I've gone a bit overboard now.

Fortunately removing a spinning hard drive has left a lot of internal space to play with in the case, not all of which I've filled with new and exciting electronics.

I'm now playing music in my office from the iPod to speakers across the room and it's pretty stable!

Bonjour Fedi friends!

I haven't been able to find the micro HDMI <-> HDMI cable for my #RaspberryPi, so I'm now on a mission to organize ALL my cables... Wish me luck!

Oh and once I find that cable I will install #YunoHost on my Pi, so that I can:
1) write about the process
2) install #Navidrome to set up my personal music streaming service 🤗

Update: I found the micro HDMI cable right away but now I feel I need to continue organizing my cables 😅

Discovery of the day - at the bottom of my maze of cables: this #iPod Mini with a Firewire 400 charger <-> 30-pin dock connector.

I literally gasped when I saw them (both the iPod and the cable/charger).

I'm so curious to (re)discover what's on it!
