Dear Lucy
Three long weeks ago you wrote me a bizarre letter in an attempt to hold on to voters who Labour have for too taken for granted in Gorton and Denton.
First, I'd like to give my apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I've been busy on the ground Hannah Spencer talking to voters about the issues that matter to them - lowering bills, protecting the NHS and rebuilding our public services.
You'll appreciate most of your letter is out of date now, but I'm sure you'll have seen the poll that came out that puts us in first place and Reform in second. Labour are a distant third and it's now clearer than that your party cannot win in Gorton and Denton,
If you are as concerned about stopping Reform as you proposed in your letter, the course is now clear: in the spirit in which you wrote to me, you should now urge your members and former yoters to back Hannah Spencer on the 26th February to stop Reform and make hope normal again.

Based on the most recent figures available, the Green Party in England and Wales now have more members than the Conservatives and Lib Dems combined.

They're SO CLOSE to 200,000 members - not that far off from overtaking the Labour Party, even.

I learned today that the Green Party of England and Wales has grown LOADS in the past few months. They've overtaken the LibDems by a LONG way, and they're now catching up to the Conservatives. 🟢🚀

1st Aug: 60,000 [1]

9th Sept: 70,000 [5]

28th Sept: 80,000 [5]

4th Oct: 83,500 [2]

5th Oct: 85,000 [5]

8th Oct: 90,000 [3, 5]

10th Oct: 95,000 [4]
