“I’m possessed by love — but isn’t everybody?”
Freddie Mercury 🏳️🌈
“Find someone that looks at you the way this cat looks at its owner.”
Me: nailed it x 3 💅💁🏻♀️
Also me: I’m the cat; my drum owns me

Not looking for love, I am love
looking for a way to express
My deepest self to my beloved.
I feel good in caring
And sharing,
Perpetually encouraging
Our love to multiply
So together we may heal
Each other and all generations
Forwards and back
Until the world is clean and clear.
Aloha no wau ia oe (I truly love you)

Love and math
make out in a corner.
I saw them move together
in 3-6-9 rhythms.
This helped me remember
Things by feeling them
So I picked up my frame drum
And started playing.
Then silence called me.
I'm quiet because I
Am listening deeply.
A pause, a breath,
A sudden ecstasy!
Sighing in pleasure,
Trembling as I’m unleashed
I realized I am
The child of love and math,
Reawakening to myself again.
I started glowing as
I hear my heartbeat.
I begin to drum again
This time, honeyed words
Emerged from my lips
And I sang a song just for you.
I see you,
Am here with you,
Choosing you in this life
And the next
In love and light.
You taught me to share
The love I have and,
Fully remembering who I am,
I awaken to my feminine divinity.
Creating music together,
Memories and moments
That will never be forgotten.
Chanting and drumming,
Showing the world all the
Magic and mysteries,
Miracles and Memories
They’ve forgotten
Through the beauty of
Our sacred union.
Not looking for love, I am love
looking for a way to express
My deepest self to my beloved.
I feel good in caring
And sharing,
Perpetually encouraging
Our love to multiply
So together we may heal

True love doesn’t wait for perfection. It meets you in your chaos, your flaws, your scars.
It stays when storms rage, when nights feel endless, when you doubt yourself. It doesn’t run from your darkness—it holds you in it.
True love is presence: the quiet “I’m here” when you’re broken, the hand held when you’re afraid, the laughter at your quirks.
It chooses you again and again, even when it’s hard, even when it hurts. It sees beauty in your mess, strength in your struggle, light in your shadows.
Love is not about finding someone flawless—it’s about finding someone willing to grow, to fight, to stay. It’s a promise to walk together, to build meaning in imperfection. #TrueLove is home.
Better Late than Never
by Crissy Bliss Addams
The minute I heard my first love story,
I thought I had to go searching—
out there, somewhere, in someone else’s arms.
Truth is, love was already here,
woven into me all along.
Turns out the real work wasn’t chasing it,
but noticing the walls I’d built against it.
Every fear, every scar, every doubt—
they were just barriers I had to soften,
so love could finally breathe through.
Coming home to my #truelove
isn’t about finding perfection.
It’s about presence—
the quiet “I’m here” when things feel heavy,
the choice to stay, again and again,
even when it’s hard, even when it hurts.
And when I let those walls fall,
I see it clearly:
love isn’t out there waiting.
Love is here,
and home is the heart that chooses it.
True love doesn’t wait for perfection. It meets you in your chaos, your flaws, your scars.
It stays when storms rage, when nights feel endless, when you doubt yourself. It doesn’t run from your darkness—it holds you in it.

🌿 Learning to Stay
True love begins within.
It’s the voice that says,
“I see your mess, and I’m not leaving.”
It’s the hand you offer yourself
when you’re spiraling,
the breath you take
instead of breaking.
It’s choosing to stay
when shame says run,
to soften
when judgment screams.
It’s laughing at your quirks,
forgiving your past,
and holding space
for who you’re still becoming.
You are not too much.
You are not too late.
You are worth staying for.

Today, after almost 32 years together, my partner, Chloe and I are marrying.
Despite the Supreme Court's rewriting of history and fervid overinterpretation by transphobes everywhere, we are marrying as wife and wife.
