I have to say that my own faith in that possibility is fairly dim. I long since gave up on the corporate media — New York Times, in particular — and have long since lost faith in its willingness to redeem itself and right its course. Not as long as it's in the grasp of super-rich owners and managers who have strong interest in undermining progressive movements in the US — because tax breaks and perks and privileges, even if the price is fascism.

We now know that Thomas, working for New York Times, had potentially damaging information about Epstein that he (and or NYT) apparently chose not to print, and that Thomas solicited a donation from Epstein.

And while reporting on RFKJr. as a NYT writer, Nuzzi was sexuall involved with him (and apparently, we now find, with South Carolina governor Mark Sanford, about whom she has also reported).
