White liberals love to distance themselves from conservatives, as if complicity requires a MAGA hat.

But history keeps proving that when whiteness feels threatened, even the self-proclaimed “good ones” will find a way to return to the safety of supremacy.

It’s not new.
It’s not shocking.

It’s just the latest chapter in a centuries-old story…the myth of white supremacy doesn’t need loyalty, it only needs convenience.

And it’s always non-white folx who have to work harder, follow all the rules, and still be told we don’t belong.

By rejecting higher ed as “brainwashing,” white families not only insulated their children from exposure to difference, but also weaponized that rejection to delegitimize the hard-earned achievements of those who relied on education for survival.

The myth of white supremacy ensures that even ignorance is rewarded.
