Some fantastic suggestions in the replies to this cry for help regarding our #AppleGlut.
I started with the marvellous suggestion 馃檹of @vicgrinberg of a clafoutis like apple sharlotka. Absolutely delicious 馃構
That's going in the family food canon.

The next batch of stewed apple mousse is also almost ready for freezing. Only 7 crates to go 馃槼...

Ruth_Mottram - Have picked around 120kg of apples from a single tree (variety is Pigeon - smallish, red, good keepers, often used at Christmas in Denmark), but no way we'll manage to eat them all before they go bad. Your suggestions for recipes with apples?

This is indeed by far the easiest way to process all those apples from the #AppleGlut
