"Hey friends, loved ones, and extended community,
We are reaching out to you with a humble request for support as our friends make a sudden move out of the country for their safety.
As you may have already heard, Rutgers University Professor Mark Bray, historian and author of several books about authoritarianism, anarchism, and fascism, has been violently targeted by conservative groups. Mark has received multiple threats to his life since September 26. Last week, Mark was doxxed and a threat to his life included his home address. He and his partner, our friend and comrade Yesenia Barragan, also a professor at Rutgers, have made the decision to leave the country to protect their family.
You can read about what’s happening here and here.
This move was unplanned and the sudden change is a hardship.
We know times are tough, folks are strapped and there are many causes to support. Humbly asking for any support you might be able to offer as they temporarily settle elsewhere. We appreciate your solidarity.
With Gratitude,
Loved Ones of Mark and Yesenia"

Their reservation was for some unknown reason cancelled last night. Their flight is now rescheduled for today.

📖 Antifa - Mark Bray 📖
