They host both #Monsterdon (which is doing 80's movies this month, polls return in November) and started a lovely Buddhist Bookclub #MastoDharma in which we are currently making our way through the Lotus Sutra.

When you ask why people stay on Mastodon if you can't idk find Shatner or something1 it's because people like her create community. Giving people REASONS to stay.

Everyone should appreciate her

#gratefulforyou post today goes to @jaz . Jaz has given everything to make the #opensocialweb a safe and trusted place. He's created multiple tools to help all of us. And most don't even know he exists. Until my first #FediForum I didn't. And yet, he's still there in the background fighting to protect us all. I'm going to be talking with him on Fireside Fedi today, but I want Jaz to know, I really am grateful for all you've done.

I'm hoping to put on a conversations about what a Federated Future looks like! Let's go Star Trek and just imagine anything we can and picture a future we want to work towards!

My #gratefulforyou goes to @FediThing . they're one of the first accounts I followed all those years ago. They are always so welcoming, helpful, and just an absolute force on the Fediverse. IMO all of these services and clients and what not should default include @FediFollows when someone signs up. They're that vital to the Fediverse. Thank you immensely for all the hard work you've done to make this as welcoming a place as possible.
