I'm not asking for faith in our direction - the thing I love about the Firefox community is how open, honest, and technical it is.

The only reason people are still using Firefox in large numbers is the same reason why most people are still using Chrome: finding a better alternative is (some) work.
I'm vegan and I don't go to the butcher to buy my vegan meat. I don't want to go to the slop company to buy my ecocide-free browsing experience either.
Just give the community an opt-out opportunity for the evil direction you're going.

If the AI industry wanted their product to be used for something useful, they'd have produced a useful product.
They only want their product to be used, so AI fighting AI is the best scenarion.

Fossil fuels increase earth's surface temperatures.

Increased heat means data centers need even more water.
