We collaborated with our Palestinian partners on the socials, our banner was on the stage, and we lit a really big menorah with you all to mark the first night of Chanukah. "💥💥VANAVOND EMERGENCY PROTEST: Concertgebouw laat IDF-cantor Abramson toch optreden!💥💥

Het Koninklijk Concertgebouw keerde afgelopen woensdag op haar schreden terug: Shai Abramson, de hoofdcantor van het Israëlische leger, mag alsnog op 14 december komen optreden. Daarmee biedt de organisatie een podium aan een vertegenwoordiger van een leger dat volkerenmoord pleegt, iemand die propaganda maakt voor genocide en oorlogsmisdaden.

Daarom staan wij vanavond om 19u voor het Concertgebouw om deze gang van zaken aan te klagen. Wij roepen het Concertgebouw op tot een echte culturele boycot van Israël. Kom allen om de bezoekers van het Concertgebouw te laten weten dat het instituut de hoofdcantor van een genocidaal leger welkom heet, en neem zelf vlaggen en spandoeken mee! 🇵🇸🍉🥁

We call on all cultural spaces to resist - {intimidation and uphold the cultural boycott of Israel. And we call on the Dutch government to end its complicity in Israel’s genocide of Gaza.
