yes, there were all kinds of groups promoting solidarity and discussion. I'm showing my age here, but it recalled to me the email discussion groups on yahoo et al back in the 90s and early 2000s.
I'm a nul in informatics, so I don't know how to evaluate what's happened, and am grateful for the observations of ppl with more competence than me. I've seen "outages" on these groups before, which were resolved. But this sounds more serious (?)

There's no activity from @SyndicWill on his socials recently, the domain for immers(dot)space is also down, no update to the Open Collective since late 2024.
Still active on GitHub though - I'll see if I can reach out. If the project is dead, I guess donations via OpenCollective should stop.

I'm aware of many interesting groups in guppe but for the last 2 days nothing I've tagged a guppe group on has been posted. And I'm not aware of being under a ban of any kind, nor do I ever spam these groups with off-topic posts.
I don't know whether this has anything to do with something going on wrt to my own instance, @mathieugp ?
