My #SilentSunday was a hike a long the small creek called Fruens Møllested Bæk in northern Vejle, Jutland, Denmark.

This area is full of water streams of different sizes, and I came by the ruins of the old watermill.

We have finally had a decent snowfall hear in January, so it almost feels like the old Danish winters we had when I grew up.

I know it's not really a skeleton, but... well, you get it.

A fallen leaf has lost all its matter except for the veins and midrib that used to support it, it looks like it's down to its skeleton. It's light ocre and one side is bent into an irregular cilinder. My two fingers are holding it in the sunlight. Through it's empty parts, you can see the floor, textured by shadows, patches of light and plants.
