Niri and Adwaita apps are a match made in heaven.

Niri arranges windows automatically, and either makes them take half or the full screen width.

Adwaita apps are responsive and will adapt their layout depending on the screen size they have.

👌

With very, very little work you can get Adwaita to behave similarly to “Material You”, with tinted but legibly-contrasted colors based on the user’s selected accent color or a brand color.

I’ve been trying this out experimentally in Clairvoyant, and just pushed it a little more in Butler—this time, based on a selected color to match your Home Assistant dashboard rather than your OS accent color.

Why can't I get Adwaita Sans italic (any of the weights) to work in Inkscape 1.4.2 (flatpak)? All other italic fonts works fine. Is this a bug with the font or with the software?

Version 0.10.1 of #LuaGObject is now out.

This version brings improved support for #Adwaita and #GTK 4. It is now possible to add child widgets directly in constructors, allowing you to build complex widget trees directly from Lua code—no UI files or blueprints necessary!

Get it on LuaRocks ⇒ https://luarocks.org/modules/vtrlx/luagobject
