Went from no Rush shows to a pair
I splurged to get mid-level tickets for sis, kidling and I
they weren't "home equity line of credit" expensive, but each cost the same as the pair of 2nd row seats I got for sis and I last tour a decade ago. Getting to take kidling to a Rush show is awesome
A friend who missed pre-sale wanted cheap seats for him and his kidling if I could join them, so now we have nosebleed seats, not from the height, rather from the cost of the cheap seats

The resale parasites probably got most of the seats during citibank pre-sale on Friday anyway ...

Ok. (Breathe) Me and my brother scored tickets for #Rush in Toronto. Some folks are balking at the prices. I agree. Modern big concerts are ridiculous. But it's Rush. I love them more than anything and I never thought they would tour again so it's got to be done. I am in the fortunate position to be able to afford it. "we will pay the price, but we will not count the cost".

I'm going down a youtube rabbit hole watching #AnikaNilles videos. #Rush is going back on tour and she's going to be the #drummer. She's just so amazing. She was drumming for Jeff Beck when the Rush guys heard about her. She's just off the charts.
One thing that stands out to me is how relaxed she is #drumming even when she's doing incredibly fast stuff. No straining. It doesn't even look like she's breathing hard. I am out of breath just watching her.
YouTube is full of so much AI slop, though. Anything posted in the last week is just bullshit. Find videos that are months old or more if you want to find anything real.
