With the new #Frankenstein movie coming out, I'm bracing myself for a new batch of meme and screenshots of "Mary Shelley invented science-fiction."
And those really are my pet peeve. People who post this think they're making a statement. Nope, they're just saying that they don't understand literary genres and that they're totally ignorant of non-English literature. In other words, they're making fools of themselves.
